Commercial Programs   View cattle for sale   Producer Info  Buyer Info  Feedlots AngusSource® Premium Value Challenge Rules and Requirements To enter Producer Participant must submit a completed AngusSource customer feedback form (CSTR 100) to the American Angus Association via mail or e-mail. This form is available online at www.angussource.com or by calling 816-383-5100. Both steers and heifers are eligible and will compete in separate divisions. Mixed sex lots of cattle are not eligible. Cattle sold will be compared to Cattle-Fax regional data. All cattle sold must be enrolled in the AngusSource Program. Weight Classes will be divided as follows: Steers: 400-500, 500-600; 600-700; 700-800; 800-900; 900-up Heifers: 400-500; 500-600; 600-700; 700-800 One prize awarded per lot enrolled…ie. MO 01 55671 only AngusSource Process Verified Program cattle qualify for awards. Additional prizes given to all producers who submit customer feedback form. Determination of Winners and Eligibility Requirements: Quarterly State Level Winner: Winners will be determined by ranking eligible entered lots from highest to lowest premiums received compared to other producers within the state of origin. Cattle selling for the largest premium over Cattle-Fax for the quarter, within the state and weight class as one lot will receive an embroidered AngusSource windshirt. To qualify for the windshirt you must send in selling information within 30 days of the date of sale and have sold a minimum of 40 head of AngusSource cattle that were enrolled as one lot. Premium Hat Winners: AngusSource hat winners will be determined by utilizing Cattle-Fax market information. To be eligible for an embroidered AngusSource cap, cattle must have sold for a premium of $5 or more per cwt. over Cattle-Fax market information for the week cattle were sold. Contest Awards: Prizes will be awarded at the discretion of AngusSource. Prizes are limited to low profile Khaki/Black AngusSource logo hat and long sleeve v-neck pullover with AngusSource logo. Disclosure Statements / Release: Sponsors of the contest are American Angus Association and AngusSource. The Sponsors of the Premium Value Challenge reserve the right to disqualify any entered lot not meeting the eligibility requirements of the contest or AngusSource program.
